DKK is looking for a Structural Engineer who is interested in a unique opportunity to work within an  established firm (17+ years) that has a Decentralized Management Structure. We are a young firm with  exponential growth that has many opportunities for the right person to excel within its operation. This will involve working on a diversity of projects, often times with challenging existing conditions to  consider. The Candidate will need strong discipline and time management skills to handle multiple  projects in a myriad of jurisdictions. It is important for the new team member to accept responsibility  for their projects while ensuring the quality of the work product. Job Requirements: 

• Produce structural designs, reports and drawings 
• Liaise with design team to resolve structural design issues 
• Proficiency in structural analysis methods and codes 
• Provide Technical advise on safe designs and construction 
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deliver designs on time and within budget 
• Construction Monitoring and Project Management 
• Client Coordination and Communication 
• Organizational and Prioritization skills 
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Structural Analysis Software, Microsoft Office 
• Inspect structures and produce reports detailing the conditions observed

Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on structural design 

Required Experience: 

• Structural Engineering Project Design: 3-5 years 
• Permitting with all Agencies 

Required Licensure: Engineer Intern (EI) 

Compensation: $55,000/yr. (as a Sub-Consultant) with increases available based on impact to existing  projects. Relocation fees are available for those that are interested in leaving unfriendly or an overtly  invasive business atmosphere.
